  • David Scott

    Pastor

    David was born and raised in the Seattle area, where he grew up attending North Seattle Alliance Church. David attended Biola University and Trinity Western University. He graduated a BA in Biblical Studies and a minor in history. He earned his MA in Biblical Studies (RTS Orlando) and his MDiv at Westminster Theological Seminary in California. David and his wife Sara have four children: Elizabeth, Rebecca, Hannah, and Samuel. In 2001, David was ordained at Covenant Presbyterian Church in Issaquah where he served as associate pastor before coming on staff at Faith Presbyterian Church in 2007, in preparation for the planting of RPC.

  • Dan York

    Pastor

    Dan grew up in the Tri-Cities in eastern Washington. He is a graduate of Eastern Washington University where he studied Mathematics and Philosophy. He received his MDiv from Westminster Seminary California in May 2016. Dan is married to Megan.

  • Doug King

    elder

    Doug is a native of Central Pennsylvania, but has lived in the Northwest now for over thirty years. He came to faith in Christ in high school, then came to a reformed understanding while in medical school and attending Tenth Presbyterian Church in Philadelphia. The Kings are founding members of Resurrection Presbyterian Church. In fact, in 2007 the church had its organization meeting and first few months of services in their house. Doug is a surgeon at Good Samaritan Hospital in Puyallup. He and Margie have three adult sons. His life experience can be condensed to “the LORD is righteous in all his ways and kind in all His works”(Ps 147:17).

  • Dale Rogers

    ELDER (AND CLERK OF SESSION)

    Dale is a native of Washington State and has traveled extensively as a pilot in the Navy. He started attending a Reformed Presbyterian Church in San Diego prior to attending Faith Presbyterian Church for almost 20 years. He and his wife Marci, daughter Lindsay (son-in-law Josh) and Sarah, have been attending Resurrection Presbyterian Church since its inception.

  • Troy Wisdom

    ELDER

    Troy has been an Elder at Resurrection since its particularization in 2009. Troy and his wife Diane have 3 adult children and 5 grandchildren. Troy is self-employed as a General Contractor and also serves as the teaching leader in the Tacoma Men’s Bible Study Fellowship Class, an inter-denominational, para-church ministry serving 300 men and 50 children in the Tacoma area. Troy’s passion is to eradicate Biblical poverty that too frequently describes those in and outside the church.

  • Ben Edwards

    DEACON

    Raised in Seattle and lived in Washington most of his life. He has 5 adult children and has been blessed with 18 grandchildren. He has worked on pro-life issues the past 20 years and is Director of Development for Care Net of Puget Sound.

  • Steve Huff

    DEACON

    Steve grew up in rural New Jersey and attended a Presbyterian Church. He made a profession of faith when he was 12 and Romans 5:1 played a big part in that. Since college he has lived in Phoenix, AZ; Beijing, China and now resides in Puyallup, WA. Steve was widowed in 2005 and has been raising his 3 kids, Breanna, Andrew and Courtney.

  • Scott Jensen

    DEACON

    Scott grew up in Parkland and attended Washington High School. He is married to Beth for 25 years and they have 1 daughter. Scott is self-employed at his plant nursery and hobbies include running, gardening and reading. He is a life-long christian and has been with Resurrection Presbyterian since its inception. Scott wants to serve God in whatever ways I could and that He called me to be a Deacon. His favorites about RPC are the people, the preaching and the community groups. 

  • Michael Lee

    DEACON (AND CHAIRMAN OF DIACONATE)

    Michael Lee was elected as one of the original deacons at Resurrection and the treasurer. Michael and his wife, Diana met at a bereavement group of young widows and widowers. They have five children; Sarah, Rebekah, Joshua, Chris, and Andrew and eleven grandchildren. Michael teaches 4th grade in the public schools and teaches Sunday School for RPC. He is continually amazed at God's grace in his life.

  • Jim Paige

    DEACON

    Jim grew up in a military family. Married to Lee. He works an Engineer Manager, Unified Communications Service Provider. His hobbies are golf and music. He is one of the original members of RPC and has been a christian for 56 years. Originally ordained as Deacon at First Presbyterian Church, Enterprise, AL and Ruling Elder Southeast Alabama Presbytery, April 1989. He loves ministry work

  • KRistina Pasquan

    ADMINISTRATOR

    Kristina was raised in Bremerton, Wa. Marrried to Jim for 19 years and has 1 son, 3 dogs and 1 pig. She owns a critter care business and loves helping others.

  • Margie Bicker

    Community Group Coordinator

    Margie Bicker and her husband, Steve, have five children, four children-in-law (including Cari and Eric Schindler), and three grandchildren. Margie is a freelance writer, and Steve works for the city of Tacoma. They live in Lakewood and have been attending Resurrection Presbyterian Church since the summer of 2013.
