David Scott grew up in Seattle attending North Seattle Alliance Church (a Christian & Missionary Alliance congregation). He received his B.A. in Biblical Studies from Trinity Western University (Langley, British Columbia) his M.A. in Biblical Studies from Reformed Theological Seminary (Orlando, FL), and his M.Div from Westminster Seminary in California (Escondido, CA). David is married to Sara, who grew up in Redmond, and the Scotts have been married for 11 years. They have four children: Elizabeth (8), Rebecca (7), Hannah (5), and Samuel (3). David served for six years as Associate Pastor at Covenant Presbyterian Church (Issaquah, WA) before coming on staff as Assistant Pastor at Faith Presbyterian Church (Tacoma, WA) in April of 2007 to prepare for the planting of Resurrection Presbyterian Church.
